Silk Way West Airlines adds second weekly B-747 freighter to Delhi

Silk Way West Airlines is enhancing its footprint in India by adding a second weekly scheduled flight from New Delhi to Baku operating a Boeing 747-400F freighter aircraft. The added freighter will operate on Thursdays with its inaugural flight on October 3, 2019.

Complementing the currently scheduled Sunday flight all Boeing 747 freighters twice weekly are offering the Indian airfreight market an additional choice and access to the expanding Silk Way West Airlines network to CIS, North America, Europe, Middle East, GCC, Asia and beyond.

"In view of our constant strive to enhance our network we do aim to further develop The Indian Subcontinent. The new service is just a part of our expansion plans in India. We do plan to add at least one to two additional destinations in India in the near future", states Samir Shirin, the Vice President for the ISMEA region in Silk Way West Airlines.

In Baku, Silk Way Group operates a modern air cargo center with state-of-the-art temperature control facilities perfectly enabled to cater to India's pharmaceutical air transport at all temperature ranges as well as perishable and non-perishable cargo requiring temperature control.
