Environmental policy

Silk Way West Airlines is committed to treat the environment with care and we are always looking for ways to minimize the environmental impact of our operation. Wherever we operate, we will conduct our business with respect for local and global environment and systematically manage risks to drive sustainable business growth.
Silk Way West Airlines considers effective environmental management to be of prime importance to its business and is committed to continuous improvement in performance in all areas.
Our processes are structured into a documented Environmental Management System, which meets the IATA Environmental Assessment Program requirements.
Silk Way West Airlines will:
• Comply with applicable environmental laws and regulations together with relevant international standards, codes of practice, company policies and procedures to protect the environment where we operate.

• Reduce environmental footprint by improving our operations, by innovating in the supply chain and by mobilizing our entire staff and the industry.

• Protect the environment and natural resources, reducing waste and preventing pollution in the surroundings in which the organization operates.

• Raise awareness and understanding of environmental issues with our employees and public by communicating the role and value of our commitments and delivering against its aims.

• Provide a framework for setting and reviewing our environmental objectives in line with goals of our business.

• Continuously strive to improve our environmental performance through regular review within governance framework. We will ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and openly communicate and encourage environmental and natural resources protection among contractors and other stakeholders.

• Review and revise this policy regularly or on an as needed basis.

We expect all of our contractors to adhere to the above commitments and work with us to implement and follow this policy in all of our daily activities.
